Daniel M. Clements has distinguished himself as a pre-eminent trial attorney during his 30-year career including twenty as a partner in this firm. At the same time, he has devoted extraordinary energy to civic and community causes. From successfully prosecuting jockeys for fixing races, to defending Prince George's County's civil rights record, to winning record-setting medical malpractice awards, Mr. Clements has demonstrated his courtroom skill in over 100 jury trials. His community service record is equally impressive, including active roles in the Maryland Democratic party; chairmanship of RESOLVE, a national organization for couples dealing with infertility; and chairmanship of Planned Parenthood of Maryland. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Clements has spent countless hours advocating for the rights of injured persons and consumers before the General Assembly of Maryland.
Mr. Clements served as President of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and for over a decade as Chairman of its Political Action Committee. He is a former Assistant United States Attorney for Maryland, and a law clerk to the Honorable James R. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
