Julia A. Lodowski has turned her previous experience as a medical malpractice defense lawyer at a leading defense firm into a highly successful practice for plaintiffs in medical malpractice litigation.  For the past nine years, Mrs. Lodowski has been highly regarded for her ability to handle complex medical issues and obtain maximum recovery for her clients.  Mrs. Lodowski regularly litigates against doctors, hospitals and nursing homes across the state of Maryland in cases involving overwhelming infection, hospital-borne infection, birth injury and trauma, cerebral palsy, cancer misdiagnosis, spinal cord injury, brain damage and other medical illnesses.  She is well regarded in the legal community for her preparedness and attention to detail and has obtained several multi-million dollar settlements for her injured clients across the state as well as in Pennsylvania and Delaware.  Most recently, Mrs. Lodowski won a $2.3 million dollar jury verdict in a wrongful death suit against a local Maryland hospital.  This verdict was one of the largest verdicts received in Baltimore City by a female attorney.

Mrs. Lodowski recently received the honor of becoming the youngest member of SCBMA in January 2006 at only 33 years old.  Julia Lodowski's accomplishments in law began even before she earned her place on the bar- she was the honored recipient in law school of the Justice Lewis F. Powell Medal for Excellence in Advocacy from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; she also earned positions on the Moot Court and National Appellate Team.
