Katharine O. Porwick joined the firm as an associate in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Porwick was a litigation associate in a prominent Bethesda law firm handling complex commercial cases, both at the trial level and on appeal, in a variety of legal areas, including breach of contract, estate litigation, employment, and construction litigation. Her current practice concentrates on medical negligence, personal injury, and appellate litigation. From 2003-2005, Ms. Porwick served as a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Kenney, III on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.

In 2003, Ms. Porwick graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law. There, she was a Notes and Comments editor of the Maryland Law Review.
