Wendy L. ShiffAttorney
Wendy L. Shiff is a determined advocate. She has been a medical negligence lawyer for more than 20 years. For five years, Ms. Shiff represented health care providers in medical negligence cases. She then elected to become a plaintiff's trial attorney and since then, has successfully won substantial awards that have significantly improved the quality of life for children and families. As a result of these achievements, she has been invited to membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization recognizing attorneys who have achieved settlements or verdicts in excess of one million dollars. She has also been elected by her peers for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization of premier trial lawyers.
Ms. Shiff also devotes considerable time to programs designed to improve access to justice. For many years, she served on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Association for Justice and on its Education and Program Committee, and Membership Services Committee. She is also the organization's former liaison to the Coalition for Patient's Rights. She is also President of the Board of Directors of The League for People with Disabilities, Inc.
